Students in 8th grade English participate in weekly vocabulary lessons, grammar lessons, and creative writing practice.  We work towards both an extension of our skills learned in 7th grade and a preparation for high school, which is always rapidly approaching.  Homework is usually assigned a few times a week, and we strive for thoughtful discussions regarding topics we're studying at the time.
